Nothing trumps being asked to capture a families portraits twice or more, we get to share a little part of your families story and it is the best feeling in the world!  I was so honoured when Nat and Paul asked us to capture River's first birthday portraits, the last time we saw him he was just six weeks old and boy he is getting more handsome by the day!

We firstly did a first birthday cakesmash and bathsplash, then we headed out for these amazing family portraits.  We are absolutely spoiled for choice for outdoor locations in the Yarra Valley and this is certainly one of our favourites! This Californian Redwood Forest is listed with the National Trust of Victoria, and rightly so, it is an incredible place to visit.  It's much less crowded on weekdays, it can be eerie when the kids (mine) hide behind the trees and then don't answer when you call lol!
